Problem: The water has a metallic smell. Has a dingy tint to it and becoming reddish.

Solution: We tested the customer’s water and determined it had a total hardness of 21, iron level 1.5, PH was at 0 and TDS was at 0. It was determined that the customer had hard water and iron in the water chemistry and they needed a water softener to address the iron and hardness issues. We installed an S250-XP Kinetico residential dual-tank non-electric softener. The install provided a 10-year warranty, a pre-filter, and 200 LBs of salt.
