Iron Issues – Placerville
Problem: High iron content in the customer’s water is the cause of the yellow water.
Solution: Suggested installation of Kinetico S250XP Water Softener to remove high iron content in water.
Kinetico Service Maintenance – Murphys
Problem: Customer was getting black water and staining in home
Solution: Our Kinetico service technician went out to inspect the system and perform annual maintenance. The system brine tank needed to be cleaned and the filter was plugged full of sediments. The technician cleaned out the brine tank and added new salt and changed the filter and the system is running clean now. This is a reminder of how important it is to have regular service. Maintenance frequency depends on your water chemistry. Some homes may need to be on a more frequent maintenance cycle.
Water Staining Issues – Ione
Location: Ione, California
Problem: The customer lives in Ione, California and was having issues with yellow staining in their toilets.
Solution: We installed a Kinetico 2100F-OD Dual tank, Non-electric backwashing filter with Calcite media for sediment and iron filtration. The unit raises the pH of the water to prevent corrosion. We also installed a Kinetico S350XP- Light commercial non-electric water softener because of the customer’s water was extremely hard and this system removes iron effectively. There is a dual tank for clean water backwashing.
PH Issues – Penryn
Location: Penryn, California
Problem: The customer lives in a rural area in Penryn, California and was having issues with PH and acidity which was affecting the pipes in the home.
Solution: We installed a Kinetico 1100 Upflow Neutralizer and a Kinetico 2060S water softener system with polyphosphate. The polyphosphates work to stabilize water quality and minimize color, scale, deposits and corrosion.
Hard Water – Auburn
Location: Auburn, California
Problem: The customer was looking for a new Kinetico water softener.
Solution: The customer’s lived in a rural area in Auburn, California where hard water issues are prevalent. The home owner’s water was tested and determined to have hard water. The customer purchased a whole house filtration system which was an S250-XP Kinetico residential water softener.
SMELL & COLOR
Location: El Dorado, California
Problem: The water has a metallic smell. Has a dingy tint to it and becoming reddish.
Solution: We tested the customer’s water and determined it had a total hardness of 21, iron level 1.5, PH was at 0 and TDS was at 0. It was determined that the customer had hard water and iron in the water chemistry and they needed a water softener to address the iron and hardness issues. We installed an S250-XP Kinetico residential dual-tank non-electric softener. The install provided a 10-year warranty, a pre-filter, and 200 LBs of salt.
